Back in New Jersey, we knew that winter had started because the three local ice cream trucks disappeared. Spring had sprung the first time Mister John, The Spiderman One or The Orange One That Played Beethoven For Some Unknown Reason showed up. It's been a family tradition that the first time you see an ice cream truck in the new year, you have to get ice cream. I'm pretty sure it's the law.
Out here in Sunny Southern California, kids wear shorts and tee shirts in January and ice cream trucks prowl the streets year round. There is one that goes past our house blaring "Happy Birthday" and "Jingle Bells" every afternoon at 5:15 on the dot, roughly 45 minutes before dinner. When I inevitably go postal and climb up on the top of my one-story California bungalow, I will be aiming my Red Ryder BB gun squarely at that guy.
That's all I have for today. Except for pictures of my kids smearing ice cream on their cute widdle faces.
It would make a good law, hehe. A nice, cool cone of ice cream feels good, especially when winter is over and things begin heating up again.

Well, it’s pretty cool if that is a law. Kids will surely be the ones who will vote for this to be approved as a law. Hehe! Who wouldn’t love ice cream? Even yours truly is an ice cream addict. This is one good reason why an ice cream truck is good business, especially during summer.
