Brockway+Metcalf+Broday+Kaplan part 2

Yes, it's been a while, hasn't it?

Many pictures, not so much typing.

On the way home from Leo Carillo (the beach trip from my last post months ago) we stopped at one of the roadside stands for strawberries, and then Lily and Hank watched in horror as Arlo hoovered up half of the flat on the way home.

Since we went to the farmer's market and the beach on Saturday, what should we do on Sunday? The farmer's market and the beach, of course.

We drove out to Santa Monica to the famous Farmer's Market there.

They have dogs in helmets in sidecars, people.

Arlo wanted a burger after he got his face painted. He charmed the hipsters manning the booth and waited patiently for his animal-style burger.

That's my boy with his burger. A grass fed beef burger, with a layer of cheddar cheese, topped by heirloom tomatoes and hipster pickles. He was very very happy.

After the farmer's market we walked down to the beach.

I have been personally offended at Robyn's Facebook picture. She's a beautiful woman, and she had an unattractive, smirking picture of herself as her Facebook image. And there was no "cover" image.

I shot about a million pictures of Robyn and the kids heading into the surf.

I also shot about a million pictures of my dear friend smirking on the beach.

We ended up replicating her current Facebook picture of her smirking behind her daughter Lily. But now Lily is two years older and Robyn looks like the gorgeous woman she is.

I think this might be a new business venture for me.

Off to the mountains.

It's hard to explain how precarious this path is. We didn't get too far up the hill but we got some good pictures.

Boy howdy, I miss these goofballs.

The Goose and the B-K's old friend and our new friend John.

The Goose and Lily and one of her Godmothers.

This is what happens when you bring a bunch of people from NJ to the CA farmer's market in March.

They stayed at the awesome Safari Inn and enjoyed all the movie references.

Plus the pool.

Holy cats, we miss these guys.
