Well, hello! Its been a while, hasn't it?
I haven't forgotten about you, my loyal blog readers. All 7 of you.
My friend Ashley had a baby. He is adorable and makes my ovaries hurt.

We got an email from an old friend, Kevin from Kitchen Sink Press. Evan and I both worked with him in MA before we landed at DC Comics. He was going to visit SoCal and wanted to hook up -- but unfortunately, Evan had previous plans to visit his mom. So The Goose and I met Kevin at Bob's Big Boy, shared a couple of burgers and shakes, and lots of gossip.
I've mentioned that Burbank has a lot of classic cars, right? This one was parked outside our house on Superbowl Sunday. Oscar was the resident Sharp Dressed Man.
I love it when Evan goes out of town and I get our bed all to myself.
We had a hailstorm! It was very exciting to see our palm trees under a layer of white.
We took off to the Huntington Garden with our friends Jen and her kids Emily and Aaron. Emily is Lucy's dear friend from school and Aaron is her little brother, who picked up all kinds of terrible habits from Oscar and Arlo.

I wish my iPhone camera could have captured this vivid purple of this cabbage!
This is just one of our favorite places. Thanks to my brother and his family for the membership!
We coaxed this bird and his buddies down with crackers.
In one of the greenhouses, checking out the fish.

Valentine's Day! Party #1: The Goose's M-W class.
Making our now-traditional photo/lollypop Valentines.
It's a multi-day process! First the photos:
Maybe too happy?
More weepy!
More grumbly!
More pouty!
More cracking up!
Maybe a nice smile?
(Maybe a haircut, for sure...)
One more -- ah, that's perfect.
End result.
Valentine's Party #2: Oscar's class! Pizza under the lunch structure.
(those freckles are about 300% more prominent after our Cabo trip)
Oscar and his best buds.
Valentine's Party #3: Arlo's class!
(not pictured -- The Goose's party for her Th-F class -- party #4!)
Party #5! Family Valentine's Dinner!
Score! $5 from Gretta!
A belated happy Valentine's Day from us to you.
