House tour, part 2

So, let's head up my awesome creaky stairs. First we have a colored glass window, followed by a pressed glass window.

My favorite thing about the stairwell was the opportunity to display our collection of original comic art. We've gathered them from gifts from artists we've worked with, purchases from those long-ago days when we had discretionary income, and even wedding presents and milestone birthdays.

More of that on the 3rd floor post.

So, when you come up the steps to the 2nd floor, and look to the right, you see a lovely little nook that we call "Bartie's Armiore," since it is occupied by a great piece of furniture that Evan's brother Bart had in his room growing up.
Yes, I do need to do a lot of laundry, why do you ask?

Also on the landing is the linen closet.

The full bath is directly off the landing. It's surprisingly huge.

There are three bedrooms on the 2nd floor. First, the 2nd biggest room, on the back of the house, which has a three-foot closet and that we use for our bedroom.

It's a smallish room, but big enough for a queen sized bed plus three dressers and an armoire. I'm very fond of the wall color.

Here's the master bedroom, occupied by the boys. Usually their beds are bunk beds, but the stager wanted to have them separate, so there's a strange stairwell hanging out until the movers take it away.

Boy, that's a lot of crap to get rid of, hmm?

Finally, there's the Goose's room. We added a closet to it last week (a bedroom must have a closet and a heating element), and our handyman did a great job of it, matching the old floor molding and even impressing my dad. The room is very crowded now, but it will house a bed and a dresser perfectly.

Next we go up to the third floor.
