Evan and I are supposed to be flying to LA to scout out neighborhoods this week. The incoming snowstorm has already cancelled one of our flights. It's difficult for me to be rescheduling our flights while watching PIRANHA(my husband insist that I note it's on Bluray) and imagining the boobies in 3D.
Anyhoo, we are seeking out great neighborhoods with good schools. So far I want to look into Studio City and Valley Village, both having great charter schools. We are also looking at Burbank, Glendale, and maybe even Santa Clarita and Valencia. I'd love hearing anyone's opinions on our potential 'hoods.
We will hopefully be in LA from Thursday evening until Monday morning. We'd be thrilled to take just about anyone out for coffee/drinks to get a bit of advice.
Hi Amy, it's Kristen here, just found your blog and am happy to write that I can help you with info on all of this. I've got a great friend in Burbank who sends her son to public and LOVES the schools there, (all the way through high school). And another good friend who lives in Santa Clarita. Her kids are at a great charter school, i can give you info. for both if you'd like.
